The EINSTEIN Project<\/a> continued its Trial validation activities with a successful Trial held at \ud835\uddd5\ud835\uddd6\ud835\udde3 \ud835\uddda\ud835\ude06\ud835\uddf2\ud835\ude00\ud835\uddf5\ud835\uddf2\ud835\ude03\ud835\uddfc, \ud835\uddd5\ud835\ude02\ud835\uddf9\ud835\uddf4\ud835\uddee\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddee, \ud835\uddfc\ud835\uddfb \ud835\udfed\ud835\udff0\u2013\ud835\udfed\ud835\udff1 \ud835\udddd\ud835\ude02\ud835\uddf9\ud835\ude06 \ud835\udfee\ud835\udfec\ud835\udfee\ud835\udff2. As the project’s Field Test and Trials Leader, the Center for Security Studies (KEMEA)<\/a> coordinated and participated in the trial together with the Bulgarian Police and project partners from \ud835\uddd6\ud835\uddd7\ud835\uddd5\ud835\udde3, Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH)<\/a>,\ud835\udde8\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddf6\ud835\ude03\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddff\ud835\ude00\ud835\uddf6\ud835\ude01\ud835\ude06 \ud835\uddfc\ud835\uddf3 \ud835\udde5\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddee\ud835\uddf1\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddf4,Trilateral Research<\/a>, and \ud835\udde0\ud835\udde2\ud835\uddd5\ud835\udddc, evaluating the EINSTEIN solutions in a real border control environment.<\/p>\n

During the two-day event, Bulgarian Police personnel received technical and ethical training while testing the project’s applications for faster, more secure identity verification and traveller pre-registration at land border crossing points. The trial provided valuable operational feedback, helping assess the performance, usability, and practical deployment of the developed technologies.<\/p>\n
