Professor Michelle O’Callaghan’s new monograph,\u00a0Crafting Poetry Anthologies in Renaissance England: Early Modern Cultures of Recreation<\/em> is now available to order from Cambridge University Press<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This book offers a fresh approach to the history of English poetry in the Renaissance by looking at the recreative properties of poetry anthologies and miscellanies. The study includes a consideration of publishers’ strategies to advertise the recreational uses of anthology and looks at the book as artefact and their performative and expressive capacities.<\/p>\n
