[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Dinosaurs, ancient Rome, insects and Chinese cities are the subjects of the early career researcher (ECR) projects awarded prizes this year.<\/p>\n
The ECR Output Prize is an internal research funding scheme recognising standout published studies by researchers in the initial stages of their careers across all four of our research themes.<\/p>\n
Each winner was awarded \u00a31,000 to support the continuation of their research at Reading.<\/p>\n
Professor Parveen Yaqoob, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), said: \u201cCongratulations to this year\u2019s ECR Output Prize winners on their outstanding outputs. Each of the winning outputs reflects the University\u2019s mission to apply expertise and solutions to global challenges and questions.<\/p>\n
