[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The winners of the University of Reading\u2019s Research Output Prize 2024, which recognises and celebrates the excellent research work of Early Career Researchers (ECRs), reflect the breadth and depth of research from across all four Research Themes.<\/p>\n
The 2024 winning entries explore diverse topics including deep vein thrombosis, the effects of ocean currents on climate models, what ancient wooden hunting tools tell us about early Neanderthals, and the environmental impacts of illegal fishing practices on aquatic ecosystems.<\/p>\n
Professor Parveen Yaqoob, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), said: \u201cThe winning publications showcase the remarkable contributions of our early career researchers.<\/p>\n
