This project offered a 21st century solution to support family doctors to stay up to date.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"row-large paddingtop-small pad-sides border-top-light\">\n<div id=\"show-more-cdfdbadf-693f-4b80-9730-f44e7d33acc4\" class=\"\" aria-hidden=\"false\">\n<div class=\"theme-editor\">\n<p>Via a Knowledge Exchange Partnership (KTP) employing Blessing Mbipom, the cross-disciplinary team worked with on-campus company Red Whale. The company delivers \u2018Continuing Professional Development\u2019 (CPD) to primary care clinicians. The goal was to evolve their offering by creating innovative and engaging digital solutions for \u2018anytime, anywhere\u2019 learning, informed by GPs themselves.<\/p>\n<p>The new resources were aimed at professionals across the multidisciplinary workforce, and ranged from \u2018QuickDip\u2019 microlessons, to \u2018Deep Dive Masterclasses\u2019 on difficult topics. Short emailed \u2018Pearls\u2019 of the latest evidence kept subscribers up to date. Webinars were delivered with engaging graphic elements and humour. And the resources employed the very best digital tools such as online chat, quizzes and real-time signposting for further reading to keep things interactive.<\/p>\n<p>The new materials which have won an international award, doubled user engagement in a single year, and half of all UK GPs accessed it.
