Dr Jessica Bosseaux is a postdoctoral researcher in agricultural economics and management at the University of Reading.<\/p>\n

Jessica completed a first Master degree in the European program EMBS integrated in the new European Bologna system of higher education. During these two years composed of 4 semesters in 4 different European countries (Italy \u2013 France \u2013 Germany \u2013 Spain), she wrote a master thesis about the economic actors\u2019 perception of Fair Trade in France and Europe, including companies, NGOs and institutions. After a professional experience at the European Commission, she completed a research master in La Sorbonne University in Paris, and then enrolled in a PhD programme in the Laboratory of Excellence (LabEx) at Montpellier University in France. She was awarded her PhD with honours in 2020. In 2021, she was a visiting researcher for 6 month at the National University of Colombia in Bogota before starting her new position in Reading.<\/p>\n

Her research interests lie in sustainable agrifood systems, food consumption, land use and value creation.<\/p>\n

\n

Jessica taught economics at Polytech Montpellier for two years. Since 2019, she teaches European economics, international finance and research methodology at IAE Montpellier.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
