This is an opt-in process<strong>. <\/strong>Applicants can participate in this scheme if they meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Hold UK home student fee status for 2026 entry i.e. they do not need a student visa to study in the UK. (details on UK fees status are available from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukcisa.org.uk\/\">UKCISA<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Identify as:\n<ul>\n<li>Black, African, Caribbean or Black British<\/li>\n<li>Asian or Asian British<\/li>\n<li>Belonging to mixed or multiple ethnic groups<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Hold or expect to obtain a minimum of a 2.1 undergraduate degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent qualification<\/li>\n<li>Meet the essential criteria described in the project\u2019s student profile (see project advert)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Candidates with a guaranteed interview must also provide full written answers to all questions about research and transferable skills in the application form.
