[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On 4\u00a0February\u00a02026, Doctoral Researchers within the Global Development Research Division came together to share emerging research, exchange methodological insights, and explore opportunities for collaboration across themes and regions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The session highlighted a wide-ranging portfolio of work addressing pressing development challenges across the Global South. Presentations included Jackline Tino on ICTs and gender in Uganda; Navneet Mittal on food and nutrition security and public\u2013private partnerships in Kenya; Louisa\u00a0Afedzie\u00a0on rural road infrastructure and children\u2019s time allocation in Ethiopia; Sayantani Ghosh on violence against women, gender discrimination and gender-biased norms in India; Ferry Setyo Haryono on agency within social forestry business groups in Indonesia; Asri\u00a0Sulistiawati\u00a0on digital inequality and women in agriculture in Indonesia; Abiola\u00a0Oyboade\u00a0Ayodeji on intrahousehold dynamics, gender and food security in Nigeria; and Andi Mulyadi on public participation in rural development\u00a0programmes\u00a0in Indonesia.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
