[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Professor Henny Osbahr gave a presentation at the international\u00a0Agrinatura\u00a02026 Conference, “Anticipating Change and the Role of Research in Shaping Future Food Systems”, on 27 May 2026. Her talk, “Addressing livelihood precarity, food insecurity and gendered social change through natural farming in dryland India: can APCNF deliver transformative climate-sensitive agrifood systems?”, shared learning from the University of Reading team’s research on Andhra Pradesh Community-managed Natural Farming (APCNF) and contributed to the thematic track on climate change, resilience and adaptation. Strategic insights from this track went on to inform the plenary debate and the next steps for\u00a0Agrinatura.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The conference brought together researchers, academics, policymakers, and practitioners to foster dialogue that informs foresight on approaches to research, collaboration, and knowledge production.\u00a0Agrinatura, the European Alliance on Agricultural Knowledge for Development, plays a role in strengthening European and North-South partnerships and research agendas on the social, cultural, and\u00a0behavioural\u00a0aspects of food systems transformation. The School of Agriculture, Policy and Development at the University of Reading is one of 25 affiliates.
