The primary purpose of the study was to analyse the extent to which Sweden has implemented the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030\u2019s fifty-nine measures for the national and local levels, and which measures should be developed to strengthen the country\u2019s ability to meet the global targets.<\/p>\n<p>The research concludes that although significant progress has been achieved by Sweden&#8217;s DRR efforts, various challenges still need to be overcome to improve Sweden&#8217;s performance in relation to many of the measures.
