There was a packed agenda at the week-long, virtual Development Studies Association (DSA) Conference 2021<\/a>, hosted by the University of East Anglia.\u00a0Jo Davies attended panels under the ‘Rethinking Development’ and ‘Global Methodologies’ streams.\u00a0 Particular highlights were a fascinating talk from Yunjeong Yang entitled \u2018Dilemmas between empowering and managing \u2018the local\u2019: Intra-organizational power relations within Korean NGOs in Cambodia\u2019\u00a0and from\u00a0Indrajit Roy on rethinking the politics of Global Development.\u00a0Jo is now interviewing a selection of attendees from the conference who are sharing valuable insights for her current project on Knowledge Hierarchies in Development.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
