We are delighted to announce that the Global Development Research Division (GDRD) achieved a strong result in the most recent Research Excellence Framework (REF) assessment exercise. The GDRD was submitted to Unit of Assessment 22 (Anthropology and Development Studies) and was ranked 9th out of 26 institutions overall with 91% of its research recognised as \u2018internationally excellent\u2019. This outcome is a considerable achievement considering that it is the first time that Reading has submitted to this particular Unit. <\/span><\/p>\n
