CPD and Accredited Prior Learning (APL)

The EPTH offers the opportunity for its modules to be taken as CPD (Continuing Professional Development). This is a useful mechanism for individuals looking to improve their skills or knowledge without undergoing assessment for the award of academic credit.

If at a later point in your studies you wish to pursue one of the qualifications offered by the EPTH, individual institutions offer facilities for converting CPD courses into credit.

In addition to converting CPD training, UK universities also offer the chance to have previous training taken at higher education establishments transferred into credit for EPTH qualifications.

This training needs to have been carried out at a recognised institution and is required to be on topics that directly relate to the areas covered by the EPTH’s training remit.
