Whether you are new to the industry and keen to learn new skills, or have been in employment for many years and wish to refresh old knowledge or upskill for a new position, the EPTH aims to help you understand the latest scientific and technical developments that have an impact on your business. Training is delivered flexibly in easily accessible short courses, workshops and online distance learning. Assessments are targeted to offer both you and your employer benefits in new skills and knowledge.
We’ve trained well over 1,500 delegates from hundreds of different agrifood businesses across the UK from single person consultancy and farming businesses to multinational manufacturers and retailers. Our participants have occupied a wide range of job roles across the entire agrifood supply chain.
The EPTH’s training portfolio has been designed to recognise the needs of the agrifood industry, which is reflected both in the range of topics and the flexibility we offer for individuals, whilst fully recognising their busy, professional lives.
Our portfolio includes:
- Short courses and degree programmes across our five research themes.
- Training delivered through campus workshops, distance learning, or blended approaches to match the personal circumstances of our participants.
- The option for courses to be taken as continuing professional development opportunities or as credit bearing modules for academic qualifications.
- Opportunities for participants to build qualifications over time and progress through Postgraduate Certificates to Diplomas, taught or research-based Master’s Degrees and finally Professional Doctorates.
