The University\u2019s engagement in this initiative is managed through the IFNH.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>The next call for EIT Food projects<\/h1>\n<p>The dates are still to be confirmed by EIT Food but we expect the next call for projects to be in line with draft dates below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Early February 2018<\/strong> &#8211; Call for EIT Food projects released<\/li>\n<li><strong>16<sup>th<\/sup> March 2018<\/strong> &#8211; Deadline for Stage 1 submissions<\/li>\n<li><strong>Late April<\/strong> &#8211; Feedback on Stage 2 submissions<\/li>\n<li><strong>Late April<\/strong> &#8211; Stage 2 application process opens<\/li>\n<li><strong>1 June 2018<\/strong> &#8211; Deadline for final applications<\/li>\n<li><strong>Late July\/Early August<\/strong> &#8211; Feedback on final applications<\/li>\n<li><strong>1 January 2019<\/strong> &#8211; Projects start<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We have <strong>2 workshops<\/strong> (half-day sessions) planned to support colleagues develop project submissions. The first workshop will take place on <strong>Tuesday 13<sup>th<\/sup> February at 10.00 \u2013 12.00 in the School of Agriculture, Policy and Development, Frank Parkinson room,<\/strong> and will be focused on colleagues who are familiar with the EIT Food application process and who have either submitted projects in 2017 and\/or are already advanced in their discussions with other EIT Food partners about potential project applications. Invitations will be issued for this workshop. The other workshop will be held on <strong>Wednesday 14<sup>th<\/sup> February in the School of Agriculture, Policy and Development, room 1L08 at\u00a009.30 &#8211; 12.00<\/strong> to support colleagues who are newer to EIT Food, who wish to explore possible ideas for projects.
