We\u2019re pleased to announce the University\u2019s first project to receive investment funding from Ceres. Paul Hadley (APD) and Fred Davis (Chemistry), in partnership with Simon Pearson at the University of Lincoln, have been awarded funding to deliver an innovative project to develop novel plastic film cladding materials for horticultural poly-tunnels.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The project will start in September and aims to create patentable IP that will be owned by project partners.<\/p>\n

The Ceres partnership – https:\/\/www.ceresagritech.org\/<\/a> <\/em>– is looking to identify, invest in and support the development of commercially viable projects which will drive growth, productivity and innovation in the agri-tech sector. Proposals are pitched to an Investment Committee, which meets every quarter. We are keen to develop and support a pipeline of projects that can benefit from this exciting opportunity.
