If you would like to find out more about our food production systems, please register\u00a0here<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to join our new 3-week online course called: \u201cExplore how farmers produce food sustainably<\/strong>\u201c, starting\u00a0Monday 23rd September 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The course is designed to give consumers a better understanding of EU farming systems and primary food production processes.<\/p>\n

This course will help you to gain a better understanding of the processes used by farmers and primary producers which, we hope, will lead to increased empathy with the challenges farmers face and a greater personal investment in the food choices that you make.\u00a0 It will also increase your awareness of innovative technologies designed to enhance sustainability.<\/p>\n

This FREE course is run by the School of Agriculture, Policy and Development at The University of Reading, which offers a variety of programmes ranging from agriculture, food security and food marketing through to consumer behavious and food economics, giving individuals the opportunity to study from ground to fork! \u201cExplore how farmers produce food sustainably\u201d is funded by\u00a0EIT Food<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and forms part of a range of novel educational activities including workshops, summer schools and online educational programmes for a wide audience including students, entrepreneurs and food professionals.<\/p>\n
