Food4Health is a collaboration between EIT Health and EIT Food. The two networks have come together to develop a joint strategy, build a shared portfolio in the overarching area of food for health and engage their respective partners in combined activities.<\/p>\n

Project teams have now been confirmed and as of 1 September 2019, the two Food4Health projects \u2013 STOP MetSyn and MuscleCancer<\/a> \u2013 have officially started. These projects aim to address specific health challenges faced by both consumers and patients through the development of nutrition, exercise and lifestyle intervention programmes.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The University of Reading successfully applied to help deliver the STOP MetSyn <\/a> project.<\/p>\n

The partners taking part in each Food4Health project are as follows:<\/p>\n

STOP MetSyn: Erasmus Medical Centre (NL), Hospital Sant Joan de D\u00e9u (ES), Institut Catal\u00e0 de la Salut (ES), KU Leuven (BE), OME Health (UK), Pepsico (UK), RISE (SE), University of Ghent (BE), Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid (ES), and University of Reading (UK).<\/p>\n

MuscleCancer: AZTI (ES), Danone Nutricia Research (FR), Imperial College London (UK), Sorbonne Universit\u00e9 (FR), University of Hohenheim (DE), University of Maastricht (NL), University Medical Centre Groningen (NL), Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid (ES), and University of Torino (IT).<\/p>\n
