As part of our Flexible Mobility Awards programme, INFORM is inviting an Early Career Researcher (ECR) to apply for an exciting opportunity to work on a brand-new, independently peer-reviewed UK Prebiotics Guide.
This guide will catalogue prebiotic products currently available in the UK and present high-quality evidence from human intervention studies supporting their use. All product submissions will be peer-reviewed by experts within the INFORM network.
AEProbio, in collaboration with the INFORM Hub — the team behind the first-ever Guide to Probiotic Products in the United Kingdom — will provide support and training to the appointed ECR. This will include guidance on sourcing products, identifying relevant scientific literature, and compiling data for use within an online guide and potential development of a companion smartphone app. All support will be delivered through a series of online meetings.
Further guidance and mentorship will be provided by the University of Reading and the University of Leeds.
A total of £25,000 in funding is available for this role. This can be used for website development costs, ECR time on the project and time or attendance at meetings to promote the UK guides and resources required to complete the project. The project should be completed within a period of six months.
