This space highlights the essential foundational work, pilot studies, and initial explorations that form the building blocks of future breakthroughs.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">While these projects represent the successful completion of their funded phases, please note that many are in the <b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"114\">e<\/b>arly stages of development.
