The Third Annual Postgraduate Symposium in microbiome-related research was hold this year from 11th to 13th of October at University College Cork (Ireland). This symposium is a student led event that give the opportunity to build networking opportunities and promote the exchange of ideas between students. PhD students and postdocs from Imperial College, University of Reading and University College Cork joined this event that included keynote talks, oral sessions, DNA sequencing workshop and tours of the sequencing facilities in Moorepark.<\/p>\n

I would like to congratulate Kang Shen, PhD student in this project, who had the opportunity to present his research in an oral session and who was awarded as the best speaker of the event. Well done Kang!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
