Background and outputs

Landscapes of Support is important because we know very little about how the farming community, and the support systems underpinning them, have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. We aim to ensure that deliverables produced will enable policy-makers and organisations to support the levelling up of rural communities and to increase their community resilience to future challenges. Outputs from Landscapes of Support will include reports, policy briefs, presentations, and online videos and infographics, will be published here as they become available.

The interdisciplinary team across the Universities of Reading, Exeter and Sheffield are working in dialogue with civil society organisations and government departments. We are undertaking research that includes a scoping review, surveys and interviews with civil society organisations, and policy and practice workshops with diverse stakeholders.
