David has recently won a major one-year grant with the Economic and Social Research Council to look at the impact of COVID-19 on the mental health and resilience of farmers. Working with the Universities of Sheffield and Exeter, we will explore how COVID-19 has affected already fragile social well-being across the farming community and the challenges faced by charities and other organisations who provide support to farmers during difficult times.<\/p>\n
