The aim of this event is to bring together members of Reading’s Latin American and the Caribbean research network (R-LAC), as well as other interested colleagues from across the university.
The event will showcase the findings from R-LAC’s recent grant success (Natural Environment Research Council, NERC), which enabled the network to run a series of disciplinary-hopping workshops focusing on climate change and adaptation in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The event will also outline R-LAC’s future plans, launch the newly created website, and provide a space for networking between UoR staff and PhD/PostDoc students working on Latin America and the Caribbean, with the aim of facilitating future interdisciplinary collaboration across the university.
