The climate chambers at the UWA were used with a 12h\/12h photoperiod, with temperatures set to 30\/20 \u02daC (day\/night). One litre pots with standard potting mix were used for all plants and slow release fertilizer was added. Ambient CO<sub>2<\/sub> room was at 400 ppm, elevated CO<sub>2<\/sub> room at 1000 ppm.
