Timoth\u00e9e Corchia is a PDRA at the University of Reading working on the integration of new eco-evolutionary optimality theory\u2013based components into land-surface models, and of evaluating and optimising their performance. He recently completed his PhD at CNRM (M\u00e9t\u00e9o-France\/CNRS), where he used microwave remote sensing and machine learning to assimilate land-surface observations and improve the representation of climate impacts on land surfaces.\"\"<\/div>\n
