For LEMONTREE, AGU is a particularly important meeting: with four U.S. university partners\u2014Berkeley, Columbia, Texas Tech and the University of Pittsburgh\u2014this conference is always a natural home for our science. We have regularly featured at AGU in previous years (see our <a href=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/lemontree\/lemontree-at-agu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2022<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/lemontree\/lemontree-at-agu24-exploring-whats-next-for-science\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2024<\/a> highlights) and are delighted to continue this tradition in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>This year, thirteen\u00a0members of the LEMONTREE community will represent the project, spanning institutions across the U.S. and also Seoul National University and Tsinghua University. Their contributions reflect the breadth and ambition of LEMONTREE\u2019s research, from plant functional ecology and ecohydrology to land\u2013atmosphere interactions, carbon cycle science, and next-generation modelling frameworks.<\/p>\n<h2>Invited Talks<\/h2>\n<p>We are proud to have<strong> four\u00a0invited talks<\/strong> this year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Professor Youngryel Ryu (Seoul National University)<\/strong> will present twice. Firstly with new insights from long-term satellite observations revealing sustained global greening and improved understanding of tropical seasonality. Secondly on dectecting individual trees and their carbon fixation in complex urban ecosystems through multi-modal sensing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Professor Pierre Gentine (Columbia University)<\/strong> will give two invited contributions, including work on global model data fusion to unravel land carbon sinks and an exploration of parsimony versus complexity in Earth system modelling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These invited talks recognise the influential role LEMONTREE researchers play in advancing theory, modelling and global-scale data integration.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s going to be a busy week for the team. afternoon from 13:00-14:00, <strong>Trevor Keenan <\/strong>(Berkeley), will be one of the presenters for Session TH131 <a href=\"https:\/\/agu.confex.com\/agu\/agu25\/meetingapp.cgi\/Session\/250927\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AmeriFlux: Adaptation and Resilience in a Changing Landscape<\/a><\/li>\n<li>You\u2019ve then got time to nip over to see<strong> Nick Smith<\/strong> who will again be convening and chairing the associated oral presentation session after the mornings posters (from 14:15-15:45) in session .B11J-<a href=\"https:\/\/agu.confex.com\/agu\/agu25\/meetingapp.cgi\/Session\/267428\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vegetation Canopies: Physiology,
