This collective initiative is currently shaping a special issue, a joint effort by the Hybricon team, the local NGO ARAKE, and Malagasy scholars. Additionally, the conference included a workshop on academic publishing, addressing crucial gaps in the publishing landscape between the global south and north. This workshop resulted in the publication of a short article by Hybricon’s Principal Investigator (PI) in Politikon, titled “Changing Incrementally the Academic Publishing Ecosystem” (https:\/\/politikon.iapss.org\/index.php\/politikon\/article\/view\/400<\/a>).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Anticipate the upcoming release of the special issue derived from the impactful discussions and collaborations at Hybriconference.
