Her expertise extends to providing guidance and support for university projects in Territorial Communication and overseeing the supervision of Master&#8217;s thesis work in Communication and Local Dynamics. As a member of the Center for Research in Communication at the University of Antananarivo, Fenosoa actively contributes to the organization of communication study days, having played a crucial role in five editions of the event. She has co-authored the C4D Guide for APRM projects funded by IFAD in 2019, in addition to publishing two scientific articles in the proceedings of the ORBICOM Congress in 2021 and 2022 &#8211; a network of UNESCO Chairs in Communication. Despite facing adversity in his childhood, he achieved remarkable academic success. After completing his high school education in general mechanics, he pursued studies in private law and public law at the Faculty of Law in Andrianjato University, earning a Master&#8217;s degree. Currently serving as a Civil Administrator and a doctoral candidate in Anthropology, he holds degrees from the National School of Administration of Madagascar (ENAM) and has advanced studies in public administration. With prior experience as a District Chief, Prefect, Director, and Secretary General in various ministries, he possesses extensive expertise in the Malagasy administration. In addition, he completed the higher diplomatic course at the Center for Diplomatic and Strategic Studies of Madagascar. His research focuses on the success and effectiveness of peace-building civil society organisations, accounting for the various social, political and economic challenges they face, and their ability to form transnational networks. Mark&#8217;s research concentrates on civil society organizations engaged in Cyprus amidst the ongoing conflict on the island. His diverse research interests encompass areas such as peacebuilding, conflict resolution, civil society, transnationalism, digital transnationalism, international organizations, unofficial diplomacy, mediation, and the role of communication technologies in politics. With a Ph.D. in History, he serves as a teacher-researcher in the Department of History at the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences. His doctoral research focused on the political formations that emerged in Eastern Madagascar during the royal era from the 17th to the 19th century, a significant period coinciding with the Transatlantic Slave Trade. Dr. Chaplain Toto has published numerous articles shedding light on European experiences along the Malagasy coasts, the slave trade, and power struggles in the Betsimisaraka region. His primary interest lies in tracing the trajectories of the Makoa, a group of former slaves in Madagascar who continue to confront marginalization. Expanding his research to the northernmost regions of Madagascar, he serves as a visiting professor at the University of Antsiranana, teaching the history of kingdoms and the slave trade. In this role, he trains aspiring historians in historical research techniques, aiming to build a database of testimonies from increasingly scarce sources. His ongoing research involves documenting and mapping sensitive historical sites, embracing the concept of heritage preservation through the cultural practices and gestures shared by the communities in northern Madagascar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FR: <\/strong>Dr. Chaplain Toto est le Directeur de l&#8217;ITPT\/CEREL (Institut du Tourisme des Patrimoines et des Territoires \/ Centre d&#8217;\u00c9tudes et de Recherches en Ethnologie et Linguistique) \u00e0 l&#8217;Universit\u00e9 de Toamasina. In December 2010, he defended his doctoral thesis in political and legal philosophy titled &#8220;Justice and democracy in the political thought of John RAWLS.&#8221;\u00a0 Since September 2011, Dr. DOLIFERA has held the position of Lecturer at the University of Toamasina. In this role, he has excelled as a Professor\/Researcher, guiding and mentoring students pursuing their Master&#8217;s degree in Philosophy. Additionally, he has contributed to the advancement of knowledge by co-supervising doctoral theses at both the University of Toamasina and the Catholic University of Madagascar (U.C.M). Dr. DOLIFERA&#8217;s expertise and leadership abilities have been recognized through various administrative roles. From 2006 to 2009, he served as the Director of the Department of Philosophy at U.C.M. Subsequently, from 2013 to 2018, he held the prestigious position of Director at the University of Toamasina. During his tenure, he demonstrated exceptional management skills and fostered an environment conducive to academic growth. Notable among his publications are &#8220;Special interest versus general interest: The relationship between &#8216;the rational&#8217; and &#8216;reason,&#8217; as exemplified in African and Malagasy policies,&#8221; (in French) presented at an international colloquium in Rouen, France, held on March 20-22, 2013.
