The model framework is generic and can be applied to other crop canopy species.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\nWe lead a multidisciplinary project (Hi-Fi Bread) focused on improving the fibre content of white bread using new higher fibre white wheat varieties as part of the Transforming UK Food Systems initiative. This working is being undertaken with colleagues at Rothamsted Research, the University of Leeds and industry partners.<\/td><td class=\"column-3\"><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/centaur.reading.ac.uk\/109633\/\">Dodd et al.
