TJUK: Online Seminar Series
Event Navigation
In this seminar, we will be joined by two academics working on intersecting areas of TJ research.
First, we are joined by Dr Nina Hudson, University of Tasmania, who will speak about her work on therapeutic jurisprudence in the context of intimate partner violence and sentencing in Australia – “‘Straight-Talking, but from the Heart’: Key Features of a Therapeutic Jurisprudence Framework for Exploring Judicial Court-Craft in Sentencing Offenders for Intimate Partner Violence”.
We will also be joined by Dr Jaime Lindsey, University of Reading, who will talk about her research on TJ and medical treatment disputes mediation – “Achieving TJ Through Mediation: The Challenge of Medical Treatment Disputes”.
This will be followed by a Q&A/discussion with audience members. The event is free to attend but registration in advance is required. Any problems with registering or if you have any further queries about the event, please contact Dr Jaime Lindsey at j.lindsey@reading.ac.uk
