{"id":440,"date":"2020-10-16T15:53:58","date_gmt":"2020-10-16T14:53:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/met-aerosols\/?p=440"},"modified":"2020-10-16T16:07:41","modified_gmt":"2020-10-16T15:07:41","slug":"welcome-to-new-group-members","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/met-aerosols\/2020\/10\/16\/welcome-to-new-group-members\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome to new group members"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are very pleased to welcome some new additions to our group:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-437\" src=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/met-aerosols\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/52\/2020\/10\/NatalieRatcliffe-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"92\" height=\"92\" srcset=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/met-aerosols\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/52\/2020\/10\/NatalieRatcliffe-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/met-aerosols\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/52\/2020\/10\/NatalieRatcliffe.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 92px) 100vw, 92px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/meteorology\/people\/natalie-ratcliffe\/\">Natalie Ratcliffe<\/a> joined the Aerosol group in October to start her PhD on improving our understanding of transport and deposition of mineral dust particles, working with Dr Claire Ryder and Prof Nicolas Bellouin, and CASE support from the UK Met Office.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-427\" src=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/met-aerosols\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/52\/Unorganized\/alcide_zhao-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"92\" height=\"92\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-436\" src=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/met-aerosols\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/52\/2020\/10\/DhirendraKumar-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"92\" height=\"92\" \/>We recently welcomed two new PDRAs to work on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.met.rdg.ac.uk\/~jp902366\/research\/dahlia.php\">DAHLIA<\/a> project: <a href=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/meteorology\/people\/alcide-zhao\/\">Alcide Zhao<\/a> joined us in July, and <a href=\"https:\/\/people.ncas.ac.uk\/people\/view\/547\">Dhirendra Kumar<\/a> joined us in October.
