I am a computational scientist interested in applying Machine Learning, especially Deep Learning, to problems in Meteorology. I have submitted my PhD thesis, in which a method for online data reduction of data in climate models was created. I am also interested in weather and climate and how models can be improved, especially with the help of data science. I have joined NCAS where I’ll be working on smart pre-fetching of data from tape systems.

Outside of work, you’ll find me watching sports (football, cricket, golf and boxing are my favorites), reading or playing with my side projects.
