Pietro Salvi

Research Scientist

My work is in climate change research, using climate models to understand historical climate change and how different forcing agents have contributed to it. Clouds and volcanoes have been both the subject of my deep fascination, and the scourge of my existence as I try to improve our understanding of historical climate change. At some point in the future, I hope to properly understand either.

Non-academic pursuits include bread-baking, plant-based food systems, philosophy skewed towards ethics, and tea.
