Our growing team started with a collaboration between the Ure Museum / Classics Department at the University of Reading (UoR), Cranfield University’s Forensics Institute and the Oxfordshire Museum Service, who together obtained funding for a PhD student from the Southwest and Wales Doctoral Training Partnership. We quickly added two PhD students in Classics (UoR) and UoR’s Museums Studies Director to our team. We have benefited also from the work of many volunteers and other collaborators.
