Our research will <\/em>join the dots between the past and the present<em> and understand how memories of the past influence perceptions in the present. It\u2019s then that we can offer research insight to inform the future.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=&#8221;juicy_pink&#8221;][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;color: #003366\"><strong>Strong current relevance<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Current migration legal frameworks and policies (including for refugees) were created in reaction to World War II and the horrors of the holocaust.
