My research is primarily focused on improving the fundamental understanding of the energetics and thermodynamics of the atmosphere and oceans, with the aim of identifying and improving the weakest parts of ocean and atmospheric models. To that end, a key tool is the development of new software and methods, which I aim to document and make freely and widely available. So far, I have started to use GitHub and Zenodo but am interested in exploring other and possibly better ways to achieve reproducibility and accessibility of my research.
