Her research focuses on developing theoretical models of plant carbon allocation by integrating ecological theory with large global datasets. Building on this foundation, she is incorporating non-structural carbohydrate (NSC) and reproduction processes into EEO-based vegetation models to improve predictions of ecosystem carbon dynamics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_p1\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">During her PhD at Imperial College London, she developed an empirical model of belowground-to-aboveground biomass ratios and created a forest dynamics framework for predicting tree growth and biomass trajectories.
