{"id":638,"date":"2017-05-15T15:36:16","date_gmt":"2017-05-15T15:36:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.reading.ac.uk\/participation-lab\/?p=638"},"modified":"2019-08-07T13:05:17","modified_gmt":"2019-08-07T12:05:17","slug":"students-build-giant-lego-house-to-highlight-key-community-issues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/participation-lab\/students-build-giant-lego-house-to-highlight-key-community-issues\/","title":{"rendered":"Students build giant lego house to highlight key community issues"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Students at the John Madejski Academy (JMA), Reading\u00a0built a life-size house out of giant Lego blocks with the help of architects, as they constructed a vision of their ideal \u2018home\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/participation-lab\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/131\/2017\/05\/JMA-DV5A5287-WEB725830_46792.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-639\" src=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/participation-lab\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/131\/2017\/05\/JMA-DV5A5287-WEB725830_46792-300x210.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"210\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The JMA hosted the first Whitley for Real project on Wednesday 10<sup style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: 600\">th<\/sup> May 2017, facilitated by the Whitley Researchers and Sally Lloyd-Evans.
