We’re looking forward to welcoming delegates to the seminar ‘Using evidence to inform support services in HE’, please find information to help you plan your arrival and day below.
Meeting location: Registration starts from 9.30am, and the sessions start at 10am. We will meet in Agriculture 1L08, and have a break out room for breaks etc in 1L06. Agric is building 59 on the campus map here, and Psychology is the building next door, number 56.
Arrivals: We encourage delegates to travel by public transport, with our closest train stations at Reading and Earley. The meetings are on the Earley Gate side of campus, with buses 17 and 19 from central Reading coming to this entrance, and the 20 stopping on the Shinfield Road side. Arrivals from Earley station should walk to Earley Gate, which is about 15 minutes away. Public parking is available in car park 1A, which is by the Shinfield Road entrance. Do note this is a good 15-20 minute walk from Agric, so do factor that into your planning. Delegates can also use Reading’s Park and Ride system at Mereoak: further information on all these options can be found here.
Food and drink: Breaks and lunches are catered. The café in bldg. 201 is open until 3pm.
Photos: We would like to take some photos during the event. If you would prefer not to be included please let us know by email or on the day.
