The post was written by <a href=\"https:\/\/vivo.ufl.edu\/display\/n547392974\">Dr Caroline Staub<\/a> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/area.ifas.ufl.edu\/\">Feed the Future AREA project<\/a> at the <a href=\"https:\/\/ifas.ufl.edu\/\">University of Florida<\/a>, who are leading the roll-out of PICSA in Haiti. Dr Staub begins by describing the vulnerability of Haitian farmers to the variable and changing climate. She then introduces the PICSA approach and explains how it helps farmers to cope with the challenges they are facing. Dr Staub also accounts for the differences between different farmers, and then finishes by showing how farmers are now training each other in PICSA.
