{"id":474,"date":"2020-03-26T22:47:49","date_gmt":"2020-03-26T22:47:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/picturingscience\/?page_id=474"},"modified":"2020-04-04T11:17:09","modified_gmt":"2020-04-04T10:17:09","slug":"resources","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/picturingscience\/resources\/","title":{"rendered":"Resources"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have used the wonderful illustrations in books written and designed by Marie Neurath in the 1950s and 1960s to make some slideshows and worksheets for children, teachers and parents.<\/p>\n<p>We have developed these resources with teachers and children.<\/p>\n<p>We have grouped these resources in \u2018packs\u2019 under themes that relate broadly to the national curriculum.\u00a0Each pack contains a slideshow (.pdf to download to a computer, and .epub for tablets) and a related worksheet that you can download and print out.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>To use the packs:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The pdf slideshows\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.08px\">have some interactive features that won\u2019t work when looking at the pdf on your browser. For best results, download the file to your computer and open it in Acrobat Reader<\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.08px\">. <\/span><a style=\"letter-spacing: 0.08px\" href=\"https:\/\/get.adobe.com\/reader\/?_height=900&amp;_width=1440&amp;_branch_match_id=633341875711940715\">Get it here.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>On an\u00a0iPad or tablet, <\/strong>use the .epub slideshow.
