Our work in this regards combines behavioural techniques including reaction time experiments and eye-tracking, along with neuroscientific methods such as EEG\/ERG and MRI.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In close links to our work in the <a href=\"https:\/\/research.reading.ac.uk\/psylinglab\/ourresearch\/cognitive-neuroscience-of-language\/\">Cognitive Neuroscience of Language<\/a>, we also examine the interaction between language and cognition, and how multilingualism and additional language learning affects brain structure and function. More broadly, our work in bi-\/multilingualism is also closely linked to the university&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/celm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Centre for Literacy and Multilingualism<\/a>, a multidisciplinary research institute into literacy development and multilingualism.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Representative Publications<br \/>\n<\/strong>Cunnings, I.
