As mentioned previously<\/a>, the 2020 Conference on Multilingualism (COM2020)<\/a> will be at Reading from June 23rd \u2013 25th, 2020, hosted by our\u00a0Centre for Literacy and Multilingualism (CeLM)<\/a>. Given the evolving worldwide situation with COVID-19, we have decided to host COM2020 online. The conference will take place in the form of a Zoom webinar and is now FREE OF CHARGE<\/em><\/strong>. However, we ask presenters and attendees to please register<\/strong>\u00a0using this\u00a0link<\/a>. Please note that\u00a0only registered attendees will receive the link to access the webinar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The conference will explore all aspects of multilingualism in the fields of linguistics, psychology, neurology, sociology, and educational sciences and will be centred around CeLM’s five research themes: Language and Literacy, Education, Neuroscience, Health and Migration. Our invited speakers are\u00a0Rowena Kasprowicz<\/a> (University of Reading),\u00a0Joao Verissimo<\/a> (University of Potsdam) and\u00a0Minna Lehtonen\u00a0<\/a> (University of Oslo),\u00a0and you can view the full conference programme here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
