We are delighted to announce the first of two workshops on research synthesis in linguistics. Funded by the British Academy, our project on\u00a0Advancing Research Synthesis in Linguistics<\/a> aims to promote a step-change in the use of research synthesis in linguistics and allied fields. Our first workshop will take place in-person at the University of Reading from June 29th \u2013 July 1st, 2026 and will focus on\u00a0Metascience and Research Synthesis in the Language Sciences<\/a>. Delivered by Professor Luke Plonsky<\/a> (Northern Arizona University), this 3-day workshop will provide an overview of how research synthesis can be used in the language sciences.<\/p>\n
