Dr. Keren MacLennan, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, University of Reading 

Dr. Keren MacLennan is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Reading, supporting a range of projects including Project Soothe and the Reading Resilience Network. Her research expertise relates to mental health, sensory processing, and autism.  

 

 

 

 

Emma Tupitsa, PhD Student and Research Assistant, University of Reading  

Emma Tupitsa is a PhD student working within the School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences department at the University of Reading. Emma’s research focuses on the extent to which heart rate variability, a peripheral psychophysiological index of self-regulation, can predict adaptive emotional responses at neural and behavioural levels. Emma is also a research assistant working with Professor Stella Chan on the ‘Resilience Rucksack’ initiative which aims to help young people effectively manage their mental health during the transition from primary to secondary school. 

 

 

 

Phoenix Byrne, PhD student and Research Assistant, University of Reading. 

Phoenix Byrne is a PhD student based in the Centre of Integrative Neuroscience and Neurodynamics at the University of Reading, mentored by Professor Carien van Reekum, Professor Ciara McCabe and Dr. Wiebke Gandhi. Phoenix’s research interests include temporal reward processing, emotion and pain. Phoenix is also a research assistant for Professor Stella Chan, supporting Project Soothe and the Reading Resilience Network.
