By combining expertise from different regions and disciplines, our partners work collaboratively to strengthen advisory services, support knowledge exchange and drive sustainable change in farming systems. The University conducts educational, research, scientific, innovative, information and consulting, and production activities aimed at tackling existing problems of life and environmental sciences, such as use, reproduction and balanced development of bioresources of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, introduction of newest\u202fagro-and biotechnologies, environmental and legal management in rural areas, monitoring and control of quality and safety of agricultural products.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

NUBIP brings their long history of experience in agricultural research and high-quality education to the KIARA consortium<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image image=”409″ img_size=”medium”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]Ukrainian Agribusiness Club<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u202f<\/span><\/span>is a business association which\u202f<\/span>represents<\/span>\u202finterests of leading companies of the Ukrainian\u202f<\/span>agro<\/span>-food sector.\u202fThe organisation\u202fpromotes\u202fthe development of the industry, introduces\u202f<\/span>innovations<\/span>\u202fand protects\u202fthe interests of members at the national and international levels.\u202fUCAB brings their experience and insights from working with a range of farms and agribusiness in Ukraine to the KIARA consortium.<\/span><\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image image=”406″ img_size=”medium”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0(SUA), founded in 1952, is a leading public research university in Slovakia specializing in agriculture, food sciences, environmental studies, engineering, economics, and regional development. Its six faculties provide accredited bachelor\u2019s, master\u2019s, and doctoral programs, forming a comprehensive academic and research ecosystem aligned with European and global standards.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
<\/span>SUA consistently achieves strong national and international recognition for the quality of its teaching, scientific excellence, and commitment to sustainability. It has been repeatedly ranked as the most sustainable university in Slovakia in the UI\u00a0<\/span>GreenMetric<\/span>\u00a0World University Rankings.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
<\/span>The university\u00a0<\/span>maintains<\/span>\u00a0robust cooperation with regional stakeholders, industry partners, and public institutions, while also\u00a0<\/span>participating<\/span>\u00a0in major international mobility and research frameworks such as Erasmus+, CEEPUS, and Jean Monnet, and sustaining partnerships with universities worldwide.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
<\/span>Through its advanced research infrastructure, such as the <\/span>Agrobiotech<\/span> Research Centre, botanical garden, and university farm, SUA supports <\/span>highlevel<\/span>\u00a0applied and fundamental research across agrifood, biotechnology, and environmental disciplines.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
<\/span>By joining the KIARA consortium, SUA contributes extensive\u00a0<\/span>expertise<\/span>\u00a0in agricultural sciences, sustainability, food systems, and rural development, reinforcing the consortium\u2019s capacity for interdisciplinary research and innovation.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image image=”407″ img_size=”medium”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]The<\/span>\u202f<\/span><\/b>Slovak Association of Agribusiness Entrepreneurs and Family Farms<\/span><\/b><\/a>\u202f<\/span><\/b>is a non-profit organization with over twenty years of tradition. It was founded in response to the emergence of large farms and the arrival of corporations in the agricultural business in Slovakia.\u202f\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The organisation\u2019s goal is to\u202fparticipate\u202fin environmental solutions, protecting and\u202fmaintaining\u202fnatural resources and\u202fmaintaining\u202fsustainable rural life.\u202f\u202fBy supporting learning, they\u202fenable\u202fas\u202f many\u202findividuals as possible\u202fto make more competent decisions\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SAAEFF\/SZARF brings their extensive experience working with farmers in agribusiness in Slovakia to the KIARA consortium.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image image=”567″ img_size=”medium”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]Climate Farmers<\/strong><\/a> as a non-profit organisation we work alongside farmers, researchers, and food system stakeholders to build a fully regenerative agri-food ecosystem that restores soil health and biodiversity, empowers communities, and produces healthy food. We supporting this transition from three impactful angles:<\/p>\n

Our Climate Farmers Academy<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0focuses on supporting farmers and agriculture professionals in all aspects of their pursuit of regenerative management of their land, businesses, and wider communities. We emphasize peer-to-peer learning and practical, context-specific experience with a community of over 800 members across Europe to support at every step of the journey.<\/p>\n

With our Research and Innovation Lab<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0we are deeply embedded into latest research work around soil health, biodiversity, carbon farming and digital innovation. Our mission is to translate latest science into actionable knowledge and we build farmer-centric innovations reaching from practices over technologies to new business models.<\/p>\n

Finally in our Ecosystem Building Workshop<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0we discover, develop and test innovations supporting regenerative farming, enable new business models and finally turn the spotlight on the great work of farmers by events and campaigns.<\/p>\n

In KIARA we are proud to create a course for young agronomist to introduce them into the concept of regenerative agriculture and how to engage farmers to experiment with new practices.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image image=”411″ img_size=”medium”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0is the most sustainable university of applied sciences in the Netherlands and has an international focus. As a knowledge institute, the university combines education delivered by passionate experts with applied research across its various research groups. VHL trains students to become high-quality, ambitious, and innovative professionals who contribute to a more sustainable world.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
<\/span>Van Hall\u00a0<\/span>Larenstein<\/span>\u00a0brings its experience and insights in pedagogy and capacity building, particularly through its innovative VPA approach, to the KIARA consortium.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image image=”392″ img_size=”large”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]University College Dublin<\/span><\/b><\/a>\u202f<\/span><\/b>is Ireland’s largest university and one of Europe’s leading research-intensive universities; an environment where undergraduate education,\u202fmasters\u202fand PhD training, research, innovation and community engagement form a dynamic spectrum of activity.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
