Pernambucan cinema has appropriated Manguebeat music and film in contemporary Pernambucan cinema as a synesthetic experience and transmedia experience. \nBased on the methodology of intermedia analysis\, the aim of this seminar is to open up the relationship between music What has been the impact of Manguebeat on film production in Pernambuco? How does the music define the choice of camera angles\, performances\, editing? How does the music articulate the films’ narratives? It is with the intention of discussing such issues that we propose this seminar and the presentation of  a video essay. \nAmanda Mansur Nogueira is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Reading\, supervised by Professor Lúcia Nagib.
