DESCRIPTION:The Department of Classics at Reading is delighted to present an online seminar series to accompany the exhibition Troy: Beauty and Heroism\, at the Ure Museum in Spring 2020. This series of presentations from Reading Classics’ own scholars\, as well as some special guests\, explore the interconnectedness of ideas about beauty and heroism in relation to the epic tradition and its reception\, throughout antiquity.
