Further information: \nFollowing the international programme MPE2013\, the research agenda of Mathematics of Planet Earth has gained more and more relevance within Mathematics as well as at the interface(s) between Mathematics\, Computer Science\, Physics\, and\, obviously\, Geosciences. But\, indeed\, related interdisciplinary exchanges have already a long of success in areas such as fractal geometry\, chaos theory\, stochastic and deterministic dynamical systems\, partial differential equations\, numerics\, and extreme value theory\, among others. The goal of this joint LMS-IMA meeting is to showcase some recent developments in pure and applied mathematics that contribute to a better understanding of the Planet Earth. Please note that this meeting is free to attend\, however the Conference Dinner is an additional £40. \nKeynote Speakers:\nPeter Ashwin (University of Exeter)\nMichael Ghil (UCLA and Ecole Normale Superieure)\nTobias Kuna (University of Reading)\nKathrin Padberg-Gehle (University of Luneburg)\nSandro Vaienti (CPT-Luminy and University of Toulon)\nJacques Vanneste (University of Edinburgh)\nBeth Wingate (University of Exeter) \nProgramme:\n10.00   Registration\n10.30   Opening of the Meeting and Welcome from LMS\, IMA\, and the University of Reading\n10.40   Michael Ghil (UCLA and Ecole Normale Superieure)\n11.20   Coffee Break\n11.40   Peter Ashwin (University of Exeter)\n12.20   Beth Wingate (University of Exeter)\n13.00   Lunch\n14.20   Sandro Vaienti (CPT-Luminy and University of Toulon)\n15.00   Tobias Kuna (University of Reading)\n15.40   Coffee Break\n16.00  Jacques Vanneste (University of Edinburgh)\n16.40   Kathrin Padberg-Gehle (University of Luneburg)\n17.20    Wine Reception\n19:00   Society Dinner at Meadow Suite \nRegistration:\nRegistration is now open via https://my.ima.org.uk/ \nRegistration will close on Friday 8th November 2019. \nIf you are an IMA Member or you have previously registered for an IMA conference\, then you are already on our database.
